Recently, the "Chromium-Manganese-Nickel-Nitrogen Austenitic Stainless Steel Plate and Steel Strip Series Standard" recommended by the China Iron and Steel Association and led by the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Research Institute won the 2022 Group Standard Application Demonstration Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As a representative of the domestic professional stainless steel association, Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association was invited to participate in the preparation of the standard.

According to reports, T∕CISA045-2020 chromium-manganese-nickel-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel hot-rolled steel plate and steel strip, T/CISA046-2020 chromium-manganese-nickel-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel cold-rolled steel plate and steel strip two standards are drafted by the Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Institute, Qingtuo Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Guangxi Beigang New Materials Co., Ltd., Angang Lianzhong (Guangzhou) Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Henan Jinhui Stainless Steel Industry Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Shuangxing New Materials Group Co., Ltd., Guangxi Liugang Zhongjin Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Fujian Wuhang Stainless Steel Products Co., Ltd., Shandong Taishan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Lianyungang Huale Alloy Group Co., Ltd., Hongwang Investment Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Stainless Steel Materials and Products Association, International Nickel Association, China Ferroalloy Industry Association and other units participated in the compilation.

It is reported that in the past 10 years, chromium-manganese stainless steel has developed rapidly in the domestic market due to its high strength and low price, and is widely used in building decoration, kitchenware, sanitary equipment and appliances, household appliances, transportation and equipment and components in the industrial sector, and its market share has increased year by year. China's current stainless steel cold-rolled strip standard GB/T3280 and hot-rolled strip standard GB/T4237 as early as 2007 version of the cancellation of 201, 202 and other three grades, in the 2015 edition still did not restore chromium-manganese grade, since 2007 to the present chromium-manganese stainless steel production and circulation has been no national and industry standards to follow, this kind of products for many years in accordance with enterprise standards and supply technical conditions to produce and circulate, there is serious market confusion, uneven quality, Obvious differences in ingredients and other phenomena, and even the appearance of fake and shoddy "so-called 200" stainless steel, which seriously affects the healthy and orderly development of the industry. With the deepening of supply-side structural reform and the further improvement of stainless steel industry concentration, in order to further standardize the order of stainless steel industry, it is of great significance to formulate two standards: T/CISA045-2020 "Chromium-manganese-nickel-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel hot rolled steel plate and steel strip" and T/CISA046-2020 "Chromium-manganese-nickel-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel cold rolled steel plate and steel strip".

The release and implementation of the two standards solves the problem that chromium-manganese austenitic stainless steels have no standard to rely on for a long time.
